two original pieces from the Duvelleroy archives.
Know How
The Pliable Fan, dating from 1905, features a folding mechanism,
a black organza leaf embroidered with bees and sequined scrolls, and a brown tortoiseshell frame inlaid with steel.
This piece is pleated, embroidered, embellished
and assembled by hand.
Nearly 200 hours of work are required to create this unique piece.
Dimensions are 19 cm x 35 cm x 4.5 cm for a 42-gram weight.
